What We Do
How we personalise your garments
Embroidery
We operate single head industrial embroidery machines. This infrastructure and our 23+ years of expertise enables us to handle the largest and most technically demanding jobs.
This process uses a needle and thread to stitch a design directly into the fabric. Embroidery is the most durable method of garment decoration. However, not all fabrics are suitable, as a thin or stretchy fabric doesn’t give good results.
Our Embroidery machines are all computerised, and so need an electronic file to be able to embroider the logo onto the garment. Creating the file from your logo is a process called digitising, and every new design has to be digitised before we can embroider any garment – but dont worry – this is included in your price unless you are a NEW customer and only want 1 – 4 garment then we will charge a ONE – OFF set up charge of £10.
Digitising is a skilled process and takes time to produce the file needed. Once we have the file ready, we always stitch out a test sample onto felt to make sure it works before we embroider any garments. If any adjustments need to be made, they are done and stitched out again and only when we are happy it looks perfect we show it to the customer for approval.
Another reason why embroidery may not be suitable is if there is fine detail or small lettering involved in the logo – we will discuss this with you to see if there is a solution – but if not we would suggest print.
- Best for: A high-end, professional look, especially for corporate wear, uniforms, and workwear.
- Pros: Highly durable, long-lasting, and gives a professional, textured feel. Suitable for thick fabrics like polos, sweatshirts, hats, and jackets.
- Cons: Not ideal for thin fabrics or highly intricate designs with fine details or gradients.
Screen Printing
With a mix of large automatic and small manual carousels we have the capability to process small and large orders with maximum efficiency. We’re proud to have a dedicated and experienced team of printers who take real pride in the quality of their work.
This traditional method involves pushing ink through a fine mesh stencil onto the fabric. A new screen is required for each color in the design.
- Best for: Large, bulk orders with designs that have a limited number of colors, such as event t-shirts or merchandise.
- Pros: Cost-effective for large quantities. Offers vibrant colors, and the prints are highly durable.
- Cons: High setup costs make it less economical for small orders. Not ideal for complex or photorealistic designs with many colors or gradients.
Direct to Film (Digital) Printing
Using the very latest in print technology, our DTF printers can produce prints of incredible vibrancy and detail using eco-friendly NeoPigment™ inks.
A modern digital printing method where a design is printed onto a special film, and then a powder adhesive is applied and heat-transferred to the garment.
The most versatile print method we use is DTF (Direct to Film), which is a relatively new process that can print in many colours in small detail. The transfers are durable and soft on the garments. All we need is a good quality electronic file saved as eps or svg formats.
- Best for: Complex, colorful, and highly detailed designs on various fabrics.
- Pros: Can be used on many fabric types (cotton, polyester, blends), provides vibrant colors, and is very durable and wash-resistant. There are no minimum order requirements.
- Cons: The transfer can have a slight plastic-like feel, and it may not be suitable for extremely high-volume, simple designs where screen printing is more cost-effective.
